When our world is spinning, worship helps us lift our eyes. Instead of staring at the storm, we fix our gaze on the One who walks on water.

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” (Psalm 121:1-2 NIV)

It redirects our attention from fear to faith.

2. It’s How We Declare God’s Goodness in the Middle of Pain

When Jehoshaphat’s army went into battle, they didn’t lead with swords. They led with worshippers. And the enemy turned on itself (2 Chronicles 20:22-23). Worship isn’t passive; it’s powerful.

It’s a chance to say, “God, You are still holy, still sovereign, still faithful.”
